The Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Ltd (GAPDL) is a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation responsible for strategically marketing the Gladstone Region as a tourism and lifestyle destination.
GAPDL Chief Executive Officer Gus Steadman said their membership base consists of over 200 members that come from a wide range of sectors including government, accommodation, and tour operators, with their preferred insurance broker being Tony Noyes and his team at ARMA Insurance Brokers CQ.
“We’ve been very happy with the service ARMA Insurance Brokers CQ provide, and their rates have been very comparable each year without no major escalation,” Gus said.
“However, we did have one occasion where we had to source some specialist insurance and Tony and his team went out of their way to source that insurance for us that no one else could provide.
Gus said the rate ARMA Insurance Brokers CQ sourced for the GAPDL was very reasonable considering the risk of a payout was in the vicinity of $100,000.
“The service from Tony and his team was incredible,” Gus said.
“ARMA Insurance Brokers CQ went out of their way to make sure they got us the deal that we needed. The details of the policy were extensive and quite particular, and they just went over and above to insure us as well as subsidize the cost of the underwriter who came to Gladstone to verify the protocols for the policy where in place.
